Here's an air check from "Music With Moskowitz," KRPM radio, 5/31/1992, featuring Buck Ritchey singing(?) his composition "Only The Moon Man Knows." You are saying, especially after hearing Bonnie Guitar's vastly more listenable version, why I have uploaded this. Well, this doesn't seem to be around anywhere, and at least for us Seattle listeners, Buck Ritchey deserves more attention in the wide world out there. Having established himself as a much loved DJ on KVI AM (one of the few stations retaining its original 3-letter call sign), Buck relocated in 1963 to a new country station, KAYO, and announced into the 70's, adding to his normal three-hour show a Saturday night offering called "Heidelberg Hoedown" (Heidelberg, Heidelberg, honey get your man another beer). Mad Man Moskowitz in his day job was a school teacher in the Everett area, who brought his "Music With Moskowitz" show to various radio stations in the Seattle-Everett area from the 80's up to his death from a heart attack a few years ago. This recording is from one of his vast collection of "flat friends."
